Cristina M. Medina

Cristina M. Medina is a four-time, award-winning voice actor specializing in character work. She was recently honored as the recipient of the Voice of Greatness Award at VOA Conference 2026, in recognition of her excellence in voice-over, along with her contributions to the industry with the founding of Global Voice Acting Academy and the creation of the GVAA Rate Guide.

One Voice Award winner for “Best Performance – Animation, Female” and “Voice Actor of the Year, Female” in 2025, and Voice Arts Awards Winner in 2022 for “Outstanding Animation Character, Film or TV, Best Voiceover”, she is well known for her characters: Annie & Amumu on League of Legends, Poison Ivy on Cartoon Network’s DC Super Hero Girls, Jessica Cruz for LEGO DC, Carlitos on Nickelodeon’s The Casagrandes, Barbie’s friend Teresa for all Barbie Mattel animated media for nearly a decade, Baby Bottle on The Cuphead Show, and Nemona for Pokémon Masters EX.

Cristina founded Global Voice Acting Academy Inc. in Los Angeles, partnering with now GVAA CEO David Rosenthal shortly after starting the company. Their shared vision of bringing quality voice-over education with integrity to those who truly wish to succeed and grow their businesses has touched thousands of voice actors. GVAA was the first recipient of the prestigious Voice Over Service Provider of the Year Award from NAVA, the National Association of Voice Actors.

Today, Cristina works full-time as a voice actor and enjoys coaching and mentoring talent to navigate this complicated industry. She lives and works in both New York and Los Angeles.
